Delivery Terms &
Conditions
Our courier company has an excellent reputation for efficient and safe delivery. They offer two standard delivery services. These are a next day 'signed for' service & a next day 'unsigned for' service.
Details of the 'signed for' service:
They attempt delivery twice if necessary and leaves a contact card if the recipient is not in.
If the recipient does not then call their local depot, the parcel is returned to us after a 3 days - the cost of which will be passed on to the customer. To resend the parcel after this will incur a further delivery charge.
Therefore we strongly advise all customers to:
• use a work address for delivery where possible
• leave a contact telephone number
• contact the local depot as soon as a card is received
• leave an instruction at the time of ordering (in the Other Information section) for the parcel to be left with a neighbour, or to be left safe without a signature (e.g. in the porch, at the back door, in the garage, etc)

N.B.
Please read the terms for the unsigned for service below, if you require
to have the parcel left safe without a signature.
Signing for your parcel and breakages:
They will not hand over a parcel until it is signed for. If you want to be protected for any claims relating to damaged contents, you must always sign the delivery docket as UNCHECKED - even if you suspect the contents to be damaged,
(.i.e. you must put 'unchecked' next to your signature on the delivery docket). Only once you have signed for the delivery, can you check the contents, and if any of the contents are damaged, you must contact us within 5 working days and we will arrange for a replacement to be delivered immediately.
Please note that ALL claims must be made within 5 working days & we cannot honour any claims which result from a delivery that was not signed for as 'unchecked'.
Details of the 'unsigned for' service:
Fastways terms state that if you opt for the unsigned for service, they will leave your order safe without a signature, but we cannot be held responsible for any claims relating to damaged contents. By using this service, you must agree to these terms and conditions.
